About the role
Establish high yielding, error free processes based on product need and customer requirements Provide programming and technical support for the SMT process equipment used in PCBA manufacturing: marking, solder paste printing, solder paste inspection, pick and place, and thermal profile monitoring system Develop and implement programs on automated, semi-automated and manual equipment for internally assembled products supporting SPI, Pick and Place and Reflow AOI processes Assume technical leadership role for internal and external customer service for establishing manufacturing process Continuously improve methods at SMT operations to maximize output using Lean methodology while ensuring quality is maintained at a high level Maintains knowledge of new developments in SMT manufacturing methods and technologies Create and maintain documentation for SMT operations including process specifications, forms and training guides Support and mentor engineering and manufacturing technicians and operators, provides training and skills development Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors Skills High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced startup environment where each team member makes a meaningful contribution Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail Must be adaptable to rapidly changing priorities to fulfill customer needs Qualifications Technical degree/Diploma in Electronics Minimum 5 years experience Strong understanding of IPC-A-610
