Job Description: We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative Associate Information Security Analyst to support the organization's Information Security function. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates who possess a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and are eager to develop expertise in information security practices. The successful candidate will support security governance, risk management, compliance, security operations, incident response, and security awareness initiatives to help protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information assets. Key Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining information security policies, standards, procedures, and security best practices.Support Information security risk assessments by identifying risks, evaluating existing controls, and tracking remediation activities.Assist with internal and external security audits by maintaining documentation and coordinating audit evidence.Support compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and recognized security frameworks.Participate in security awareness initiatives and promote cybersecurity best practices across the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the organization's overall cybersecurity posture and continuous improvement initiatives.Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and logs generated from enterprise security tools to identify potential security incidents.Perform initial triage, investigation, documentation, and timely escalation of security events in accordance with defined incident management procedures.Review security logs generated from operating systems, network devices, firewalls, endpoint security solutions, and authentication systems to identify suspicious activities.Perform additional responsibilities and special projects assigned in support of the organization's security and compliance objectives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in cyber security, Information Security, or related discipline.01 year of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Required Knowledge Candidates should have a foundational understanding of information security principles and practices, including: Core information security concepts and best practicesThe Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) TriadRisk identification, assessment, treatment, and mitigation methodologiesSecurity concepts related to assets, threats, vulnerabilities, risks, and security controlsTypes of security controls, including preventive, detective, corrective, and compensating controlsSecurity monitoring, log analysis, event correlation, and basic threat detection conceptsSecurity incident identification, response, and lifecycle managementFundamentals of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms and use casesNetworking fundamentals, including network architectures, OSI/TCP-IP models, ports, protocols, and common security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and proxiesBasic knowledge of vulnerability management, including vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediationFoundational understanding of information security governance, policies, risk management, and compliance conceptsFamiliarity with industry standards, frameworks, and regulations such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and GDPR. Knowledge of CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certifications will be considered an added advantage.
