About the role
Engagement: Full-time · India-based Shift: Overlap with US Eastern (EST)
Role Overview
Own quality across the platform -- the edge analytics pipeline, the integration layer, and the resident-facing pickup-game web application. A key part of the role is validating data accuracy: building a harness that compares system-generated counts against manual ground truth and reporting deltas.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans across web app, APIs, and data pipeline
- Build a data-accuracy validation harness (system counts vs. manual ground-truth) and report accuracy deltas
- Automate API and end-to-end tests; verify formal acceptance criteria per milestone
- Run stability/soak testing (e.g., multi-day continuous operation) and integration/webhook testing
- Track, reproduce, and verify defects through resolution
Must-Have Skills
- Test automation and API testing (pytest / Postman)
- End-to-end testing of web applications (React frontend / FastAPI backend)
- Python; SQL and data validation
- Ability to build and run a data/accuracy validation harness
Good-to-Have
- Exposure to CV / ML or data-pipeline testing
- Webhook / integration testing; load and stability/soak testing
- Strong test documentation and acceptance-criteria verification
