Java SDE-III

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Java / SDE-III) with strong backend expertise to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade applications. The candidate will play a key role in architecture decisions, performance optimization, and mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java. Lead end-to-end development: requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and security best practices. Work on large-scale data processing and automation solutions. Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams. Participate in design discussions and architectural reviews. Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Required Skills Core Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17) and object-oriented design principles. Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud. Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Web Services. Database expertise: Relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) Exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) System Design & Architecture Experience designing distributed systems. Strong understanding of: Scalability Load balancing Caching strategies Message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) Cloud & DevOps Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP. Familiarity with: Docker & Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) Additional Skills Experience working with big data tools (Spark/Hadoop) is a plus. Knowledge of event-driven architecture. Strong debugging and performance tuning skills. Qualifications Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field. 58 years of professional software development experience. Experience in product-based companies or FinTech domain (preferred). Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to lead initiatives and take ownership. Good to Have (HighRadius-specific preference) Experience in Finance/Accounts Receivable/Automation products.
