React JS Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate React JS Engineer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing features using React.js, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and an excellent user experience. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• • Develop new user-facing features using React.js and its ecosystem.

• • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

• • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

• • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.

• • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

• • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

• • Identify and troubleshoot UI/UX problems and bugs.

• • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development, especially within the React ecosystem.

• • Write unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of the application.

• Required Skills and Experience:

• • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax.

• • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.

• • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).

• • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).

• • Experience with RESTful APIs.

• • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.

• • Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3.

• • Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.

• • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

• • Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git.

• • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

• • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• • Experience with TypeScript.

• • Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) with React frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Gatsby).

• • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Enzyme).

• • Experience with state management libraries other than Redux (e.g., Zustand, Recoil, Context API).

• • Familiarity with UI component libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design, Chakra UI).

• • Understanding of accessibility best practices.

• • Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Education:

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
