This role maintains a relentless focus on supporting both IT and the business to continuously improve, delivering maximum value, driving efficiency, and ensuring solutions are right first time. \n\nResponsibilities\n\nKey accountabilities include, but are not limited to: \n\nRequirements \u0026 Backlog Management\n\nLead and drive requirements definition, scoping, and prioritisation activities for complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.\n\nEstablish, manage, and maintain the Finance and Procurement DevOps backlog, ensuring additions and changes are effectively assessed, controlled, and communicated.\n\nSelect and apply appropriate business analysis methods, tools, and techniques, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of organisational standards.\n\nBusiness Analysis \u0026 Modelling\n\nConduct structured business situation analysis to identify problems, opportunities, and improvement areas, adopting a holistic and data-driven approach.\n\nDevelop and maintain business models that represent complex processes and scenarios, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment to business outcomes.\n\nSupport stakeholders in interpreting models and insights to inform decision-making and drive business improvements.\n\nProcess Improvement\n\nLead and support business process improvement initiatives, assessing feasibility and recommending optimal approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. \n\nApply appropriate process improvement methodologies and tools at programme, project, and team levels.\n\nStakeholder Engagement \u0026 Communication\n\nBuild and maintain solid stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact between business and IT.\n\nPlan and execute stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring clear, consistent communication and alignment throughout delivery.\n\nFacilitate stakeholder workshops and discussions to gain agreement on requirements, priorities, and recommended solutions, managing conflicting viewpoints effectively.\n\nDecision Support \u0026 Information Management\n\nFacilitate decision-making processes by providing clear, structured information and recommendations. Experience working with enterprise systems and platforms, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or similar ecosystems.\n\nDesirable\n\nExperience supporting or contributing to the development of business analysis standards, frameworks, or governance models. \n\nKnowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) and their practical application.
