Information Security Analyst (InfoSec Analyst)

As an Information Security Analyst (InfoSec Analyst), your role involves defining, planning, and monitoring security measures to safeguard computer networks and information. You will work under the legal department and report to the Director, Head of the Security, Compliance, & Risk (SCR) department. Key Responsibilities: - Define, maintain, and report on computer network security strategies - Communicate security policies and strategies to individuals with varying technical ability - Monitor and provide reports on perimeter security systems, end point security systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems - Participate in incident response process and drive incidents to completion - Manage relationships and coordinate activities with external security services providers - Coordinate vulnerability remediation activities and patch management lifecycle - Create and publish incident management reports as required Desired Competencies and Skills: - Knowledge of SIEM systems, Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Protection Systems, networking, and firewall appliances - Familiarity with Information Security standards (ISO 27000 series, NIST, HITRUST) and vulnerability management solutions - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficient in project management and organizational skills Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or Electrical Engineering preferred - Minimum of two (2) years of Information Security experience - Certification in one of the following: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CEH, CompTIA Security+ Your role as an Information Security Analyst will be crucial in ensuring the protection of computer networks and information by implementing and enforcing robust security measures and policies.
