About the role
Role & responsibilities: Responsible for the design and development of automotive Interior, Exterior, and Plastic Trim components using CATIA V5/V6. The role includes concept development, 3D modeling, Class-A feasibility, attachment design, tooling feasibility, GD&T implementation, and product release while ensuring manufacturability, quality, cost, and vehicle performance requirements Design and develop automotive trim components from concept to production. Create robust 3D CAD models and assemblies using CATIA V5/V6. Convert styling/Class-A surfaces into manufacturable engineering parts. Develop injection-molded plastic components following OEM standards. Ensure product compliance with functional, aesthetic, safety, and manufacturing requirements. Expertise in CATIA Trims design Engineer for creating 3D Models assemblies and drawings of sheet metal and plastic components.
