Application Support & Site Reliability Engineer

You will be responsible for providing L2 application support for the trading platform accessed via Citrix Workspace to ensure high availability and optimal performance. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Citrix Workspace, backend databases, and the trading application settings. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor the application and database health, availability, and performance using relevant monitoring and alerting tools. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending automation, alert tuning, and process enhancements aligned with Site Reliability Engineering principles. - Perform SQL query analysis and database troubleshooting to identify and fix data or performance issues. - Interrogate SQL Server databases for investigations using straightforward and complex SQL queries. - Investigate user queries via log files and process interactions, such as order issues, flow breaks, booking issues, and Pricing. - Collaborate closely with development, QA, and SRE teams to diagnose and resolve complex incidents, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. - Interact with Offshore teams and effectively communicate issues with clarity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience in providing L2 application support for trading platforms accessed via Citrix Workspace. - Strong proficiency in SQL query analysis and database troubleshooting. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
