About the role
Hirea4u hiring: CAD Automation Developer (Trainee) Engineering Intelligence BU We're looking for a mechanical engineer who can genuinely code in C# and who's willing to grow, over the next 1218 months, into someone who builds CAD automation tools and stands in front of clients to demo them. If that's a strange combination on paper, here's why it works: the CAD skills, we can teach. C# ability and the confidence to eventually own a client conversation that's much harder to build from scratch. What you'll actually do: Learn the SolidWorks API in C#, under our CAD Automation Lead real tasks from day one, not busywork Build automation scripts: part/drawing templates, file-handling utilities, config-driven design tools Understand the why behind automation decisions, not just the how Once ready join client-facing demos and show your own work. This isn't optional; it's the growth path Document your work well enough that a teammate could pick it up What we need from you: C# skills you can actually demonstrate coursework, personal projects, internships, self-taught, doesn't matter. Just be ready to walk us through code you've written. A mechanical engineering degree/diploma, with solid technical breadth across core design concepts Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to pick up new tools fast Comfortable, confident spoken English non-negotiable, given where this role is headed Genuine enthusiasm for building things it should show when you talk about your projects, not just appear as a bullet on your resume Nice to have (not required): Any exposure to SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or any CAD tool even academic Python or VBA familiarity Experience presenting a project college demo, hackathon, anything you've shown to others The honest part: early on, you'll be a beginner in CAD automation while we invest heavily in getting you there. That means frequent, direct feedback and some discomfort the first time you're asked to demo in front of a client. Both are expected. A flat "I never want to face a client" is the one real mismatch here. Role details: Pune (on-site/hybrid per team norms) 02 years freshers with strong aptitude genuinely welcome Reports to: CAD Automation Lead, Engineering Intelligence BU Full-time One tip if you're applying: if you've built even a small C# project academic, personal, anything mention it and be ready to talk through it. That will move you ahead of someone who just lists "C#" as a skill. Know a mechanical engineer who codes and is itching to build something real Tag them. #Hiring #CADAutomation #MechanicalEngineering #CSharp #SolidWorks #PuneJobs #EngineeringJobs #Hirea4u .
