About the role
As the first Product Manager in this company, you will play a foundational role in driving the platform forward. Your responsibilities will include owning the product vision, strategy, and execution from concept to launch and beyond. You will collaborate closely with the founding team, engineers, designers, and future customers to create a category-defining product that addresses real-world problems. Key Responsibilities: - Immerse Yourself in Credit Unions: Conduct in-depth research to understand the workflows, data challenges, and unmet needs of credit unions. - Develop Product Roadmap: Create and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap from scratch (0 to 1), making decisions on what to build and when. - Translate Strategy into Requirements: Translate the product strategy into detailed requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications. - Lead Cross-Functional Team: Work closely with engineering and design teams to guide features from ideation to launch and iteration in an agile setting. - Champion AI Integration: Drive the integration of AI and machine learning to develop an intelligent CRM that is predictive, automated, and user-friendly. - Measure Success: Define key success metrics, utilize data to inform decisions, prioritize backlog, and validate hypotheses. - Voice of the Customer: Advocate for users throughout the product development lifecycle. Qualifications Required: - Proven 0-to-1 Experience: 3 years of product management experience, with a track record of taking a software product from concept to successful market launch, ideally in a B2B SaaS startup. - CRM Expertise: Understanding of modern CRM platforms and their core architecture, workflows, and challenges. - Customer-Obsessed: Empathy for users and proficiency in research and discovery techniques. - AI/ML Acumen: Experience with AI-powered features and collaboration with engineers for enhanced user experiences. - FinTech Passion: Previous experience in financial services or FinTech is advantageous. - Resourceful: Ability to navigate ambiguity, make decisions with imperfect information, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. - Exceptional Communicator: Ability to convey a compelling vision and communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
