Associate Technical Network Security

As an Associate Technical- Network Security at our client, a leading IT System Integrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and reliability of the network infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and troubleshooting Checkpoint and ASA firewalls, addressing connectivity issues, and ensuring system updates and protection. Collaboration with other teams to implement security solutions and contribute to the enhancement of the cybersecurity environment will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities: - Firewall Operations: Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Checkpoint and ASA firewalls, including upgrades, configurations, and high availability setups. - Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, conduct root cause analysis, and document solutions for future reference. - Change & Collaboration: Participate in change request meetings, implement approved changes, and collaborate with other teams for deploying security solutions. - Continuous Improvement: Monitor network security and availability, address complex issues promptly, and contribute to ongoing enhancements in the cybersecurity environment. Skills & Experience: - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Checkpoint and ASA firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and HA setups. Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools, VPN technologies, and incident/change management processes. - Problem-Solving & Analysis: Ability to diagnose complex network issues under time constraints, document root cause analyses, and maintain solution records. - Collaboration & Communication: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, consulting with internal and external clients at technical and business levels, and practicing strong documentation and knowledge sharing.
