About the role
As a System Administrator at HireInfinity Consulting LLP, you will play a crucial role in administering and maintaining Windows/Linux servers and IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include monitoring system performance, availability, and security, managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network services, performing system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, supporting virtualization and cloud environments, implementing security best practices and access management, and maintaining system documentation and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers and IT infrastructure. - Monitor system performance, availability, and security. - Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network services. - Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning. - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. - Support virtualization and cloud environments. - Implement security best practices and access management. - Maintain system documentation and operational procedures. Required Skills: - Experience in System Administration and Infrastructure Management. - Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux Administration. - Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, VPN). - Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies. - Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, AWS, Azure) are preferred.
