Chief Technology Officer (CTO) AI SaaS Transformation Location: India Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are a leading global market research and insights firm embarking on an exciting transformation from a services-led organization to an AI-native SaaS product company. We are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead this transformation by modernizing our engineering organization, building scalable AI-powered products, and driving our product strategy from concept to commercial success. This is a unique opportunity to lead a well-funded product transformation within an established business, working directly with executive leadership to shape the company's technology future. Key Responsibilities Define and lead the overall technology vision, architecture, and engineering strategy. Build and scale secure, cloud-native, AI-powered SaaS products. Transform the existing engineering organization into a high-performing product engineering team. Drive architecture decisions across cloud infrastructure, APIs, data platforms, AI/ML, security, and scalability. Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to align technology with business strategy and product roadmap. Recruit, mentor, and develop world-class engineering leaders and technical talent. Establish engineering best practices for product delivery, DevOps, quality, security, and operational excellence. Lead AI adoption across the product lifecycle, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and automation. Deliver high-quality products that create measurable business value and accelerate SaaS growth. Required Experience 10+ years of experience building and scaling enterprise B2B SaaS products. Proven experience leading engineering organizations of 25+ engineers. Strong background in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms. Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI-driven product development. Experience driving engineering transformation and scaling high-performing product teams. Strong understanding of software architecture, security, DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering best practices. Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering. Experience leading a services-to-product transformation. Background in market research, analytics, data platforms, or insights technology. Experience building AI-native SaaS platforms from concept through commercialization.
