Tableau Developer

As a Tableau Data Visualizer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau. Your primary role will involve transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain visually appealing, interactive Tableau dashboards and reports. - Connect Tableau to various data sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and ensure data accuracy. - Perform data exploration, cleansing, and validation to maintain integrity. - Optimize dashboards for speed and usability, especially with large datasets. - Gather requirements from business users and translate them into technical specifications. - Implement calculated fields, parameters, sets, and Tableau story points for enhanced analytics. - Conduct thorough testing and ensure data quality in all visualizations. - Provide training and documentation for end-users on Tableau functionalities. - Stay updated on Tableau features and best practices to improve reporting capabilities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. - Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. - Experience with large datasets and performance tuning. - Optional: Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data manipulation. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a transparent, actionable format. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field. Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development and data visualization.
