As a .Net Lead at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions for the Customer product. Working as part of a Scrum Squad, you will be accountable for various key responsibilities: - Delivery: - Reviewing, refining, estimating, and prioritising functional requirements in close collaboration with the Scrum Squad leading to high quality committed deliverables. - Accommodating non-functional outcomes e.g. scale, security, deployment, and operability considerations. - Proposing options and communicating information to support effective decision making whilst taking ownership of project outcomes. - Implementing requirements utilizing clean and performant code that adheres to relevant design patterns and standards. - Engaging in design and review processes as both an author and a reviewer. - Performing verification and validation to ensure product backlog items are complete before handover to colleagues. - Reviewing, debugging, and where relevant refactoring code associated with product backlog items. - Troubleshooting customer raised production issues. - Ensuring relevant documentation is produced and accessible. - Ensuring, in collaboration with Scrum Squad, that 'Definition of Done' is achieved for all items e.g. appropriate Unit Testing is in place for feature. - Teamwork & Collaboration: - Ensuring a focus on quality outcomes through close collaboration with squad members. - Executing relevant tasks both within and beyond the Senior Software Engineer role to support successful delivery of project outcomes e.g. supporting any squad member to close out delivery. - Actively engaging in all quarterly release planning and preparation activities. - Actively engaging in all Scrum Ceremonies. - Effectively communicating within the Scrum Squad and beyond into other teams relevant development options/decisions and associated activities. - Offering relevant technical guidance within Scrum Squad. - Engaging in mentoring activities both as a mentor and mentee. - Technology: - Actively engage in assessing and understanding current industry methodologies, techniques, and emerging technologies. - Implement defined technology adopted by product/squad and in some scenarios recommend technology for adoption. - Recommend technical hygiene activities including technical debt resolution and supportability improvements. In addition to the core responsibilities, you are expected to possess the following qualifications and skills: - 2-10 years of Experience in Microsoft Technologies (Relevant) - Good experience in C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, React, Java - Good experience in database designing, writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning - Good understanding of Design Patterns and usage of them in real life - Can operate independently or with minimum supervision - Experience in MicroServices - Visual Studio, TFS, VSTS, and GIT - CI/CD, DevOps, setting up and managing Build and release pipelines - Have knowledge in DevOps Pipeline creations - Good to have Azure or any cloud certifications GlobalLogic offers a culture of caring where people come first, learning and development opportunities to support continuous growth, interesting and meaningful work that impacts clients globally, balance and flexibility to achieve work-life harmony, and a high-trust organization where integrity is key.
