As a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing ERP Functional Consultant with expertise in QAD, your role will involve optimizing ERP systems for clients. You will be responsible for leading ERP system implementations, analyzing business processes, configuring ERP systems to meet client needs, assisting in data migration, providing training and support, optimizing processes, engaging with stakeholders, troubleshooting issues, and managing projects effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Lead ERP system implementations, focusing on QAD, across various manufacturing processes. - Collaborate with clients to analyze their manufacturing operations and business requirements, identifying gaps and recommending solutions. - Configure ERP systems, particularly QAD, to align with client needs and customize modules as necessary. - Assist in planning, mapping, and executing data migration from legacy systems to QAD ERP systems. - Provide end-user training, develop documentation, and offer post-implementation support for efficient ERP system usage. - Analyze and streamline manufacturing processes using ERP functionalities. - Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes. - Address functional issues within the ERP system promptly and effectively. - Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure on-time and within budget delivery of ERP projects. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - 10+ years of experience as an ERP Functional Consultant, with a strong focus on manufacturing industry processes. - 7+ years of hands-on experience with QAD ERP systems. - In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes such as production, inventory management, procurement, and supply chain operations. - Strong understanding of ERP modules including Production, Materials Management, Inventory, Procurement, and Finance. - Proven ability to implement ERP systems end-to-end, from requirement gathering to post-go-live support. - Experience in data migration from legacy systems to ERP solutions. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. - Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall is a plus. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: - Expertise in QAD ERP. - Knowledge of other manufacturing ERPs like Progress4GL, OpenEdge ABL, JAVA, typescript, SAP, Oracle, or Infor is an advantage. - Experience in ERP integration with other systems such as MES, PLM, and CRM. - Certification in QAD or relevant ERP systems is a plus.
