The role leads the design and governance of sustainability data flows, ensuring seamless integration across Sustainability, IT, data owners and enterprise digital platforms. By leveraging existing digital core investments and selectively introducing new tools, the role enables automation, AI‑driven insights and efficient reporting, while significantly reducing manual effort and internal stakeholder burden. This role is a key enabler for embedding sustainability into strategic decision‑making, risk management and value creation.

How you'll make an impact: Sustainability Data Strategy & Governance Define and implement the global sustainability data strategy aligned with business, regulatory and digital roadmaps

Establish clear data governance, ownership, quality and traceability models across the sustainability value chain

Ensure consistency and interoperability of sustainability data across systems, regions and functions

Translate sustainability requirements into scalable data and digital solutions

Digital Core Enablement & System Integration Act as the primary sustainability interface to IT, Digital, Enterprise Architecture and Data teams

Maximize the use of existing digital core platforms, enterprise data lakes and reporting tools

Support the selection, integration and rollout of new sustainability‑relevant tools and platforms where required

Ensure solutions are future‑proof, modular and aligned with IT architecture standards

Automation, AI & Advanced Analytics Drive automation of sustainability data collection, consolidation and reporting to minimize manual processes

Identify opportunities to leverage AI, analytics and digital technologies to extract insights from existing data

Enable predictive, risk‑based and opportunity‑focused sustainability intelligence to support business decisions

Promote data reuse and self‑service analytics where appropriate

Reporting Efficiency & Regulatory Readiness Enable efficient, audit‑ready and scalable data flows for sustainability and regulatory reporting

Reduce duplication of data requests across functions and reporting frameworks

Anticipate evolving reporting and customer requirements and ensure proactive readiness

Improve data reliability, transparency and confidence at management and leadership levels

Cross‑Functional Orchestration & Change Enablement Coordinate sustainability data activities across Supply Chain, Business Units, Finance, Risk and other data owners

Drive adoption of harmonized data processes and digital ways of working

Support capability building by translating technical data concepts into clear business value

Act as a change agent, embedding digital and data thinking into sustainability execution​

Your background

  • Experience Minimum 12 years of experience with 5 years of relevant sustainability field experience

  • Experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, digital transformation, data analytics, or related areas is a must

  • Utilize emerging technologies such as AI, and advanced analytics to improve sustainability performance and transparency

  • Extensive experience in data, digitalization, analytics or transformation roles within a global organization

  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise‑level data or digital solutions

  • Experience working with complex data ecosystems and multiple stakeholders

  • Exposure to sustainability, ESG, supply chain or product data contexts strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong systems thinking and ability to connect business strategy, data and technology

  • Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct authority

  • Strong problem‑solving and prioritization skills in complex environments

  • Business‑driven mindset with a clear focus on efficiency, scalability and impact

  • Curiosity and practical understanding of AI and advanced analytics applications
