Lead Engineer - Grid Automation

About this role: Hitachi Energy India Limited is looking for Lead Protection & Control engineer in Grid Automation Business located in Peenya, to lead a team of design Engineers for Protection & Control Panel Engineering in High Voltage, Extra High Voltage and Ultra High Voltage Transmission Substations. The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Protection & Control Panel Engineering. Shall have minimum 5 years of experience in leading a team of design engineers In this role we are looking forward to the following: a. Leadership capability b. Strong communication skills c. Robust Knowledge in Power System Network; Protection, Control & Substation Automation domain Job Description: Contract Specification assessment (requirements, deviations, risks, opportunities) Base design with all necessary concepts (cost effective solutions based on customer contract specification and technical offer) Supervise the engineering process and documentation quality of the team of design engineers to ensure submission of drawings/documents technically complete in all respects, compared to the project specification. Lead technical resolution of solutions with customers and translating customer requirements into solutions of Hitachi Active management of technical changes, risks & claims (only technical part) Supporting bid & proposal to find solutions which meet the functional requirements of the customer and be competitive in the market Leading CRP drawing standardization and solution optimization activities for set of customers.
