Data Analyst

Hitachi India Private Limited is hiring for the role of Data Analyst! Responsibilities of the Candidate: Collect, cleanse, validate, and analyze data from multiple enterprise systems. Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI and related analytics tools. Identify trends, performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities. Support leadership through data-driven recommendations and performance insights. Establish automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. Analyze engineering utilization, productivity, capacity, and workload data. Support workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and resource optimization. Develop KPI dashboards for engineering functions, managers, and leadership teams. Monitor project delivery performance and engineering execution metrics. Support implementation of digital tools and analytics platforms. Develop automated workflows using Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). Improve reporting efficiency through automation and standardization. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems. Define data standards, reporting structures, and governance mechanisms. Maintain documentation of datasets, reports, and analytical models. Support continuous improvement through data validation and auditing. Partner with Engineering Managers, Team Leads, Finance, Operations, and Global Functions. Translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams. Drive adoption of analytics-driven decision making across GECIN. Identify process inefficiencies using quantitative analysis. Develop predictive and trend-based analytical models to improve planning and execution. Requirements: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science Engineering. 0 to 1 years of experience; experience in power, energy, or infrastructure projects is preferred. Candidates with higher experience and education will also be considered. Engineering data and visualization pipelines. Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
