Design Systems Specialist

Design System Specialist Hybrid working model. Work locations: Noida and Bangalore. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in design systems, design operations, or a closely related discipline within a product design organisation. Strong experience in maintaining and driving governance of endtoend ownership of design systems. Portfolio showcasing detailed design system case studies using Figma, including component structures, workflows, and implementation approach, demonstrating impact on product consistency, scalability, and developer/design efficiency. Expertise in building scalable, reusable, and accessible UI component libraries. Handson experience with Figma, design tokens, component libraries, documentation, and governance. Deep Figma expertisecomponent architecture, variables, tokens, autolayout, and plugin development. Experience with design token systems and Figmatocode handoff workflows. Understanding of frontend development concepts to inform credible conversations with engineers and identify incorrectly built components. Indepth knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and ability to embed them at a systems level. Experience defining governance models, contribution frameworks, and documentation standards for design systems used by multiple teams. Track record of producing documentation and knowledge resources that are actually used. Familiarity with the broader design infrastructure tooling landscape and a proven ability to quickly adopt new tools. Proficiency with AI tools as a core part of workflowfrom generating assets to solving novel problems on the fly. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Responsibilities Lead design system initiatives across multiple product teams. Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to maintain consistency, usability, and scalability. Advise on implementation to ensure quality and alignment with accessibility standards. .
