About the job: Key responsibilities: A. AWS cloud infrastructure management 1. Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. 2. Administer AWS services including Amazon EKS, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, and related networking components. 3. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency. B. CI/CD & GitHub actions 1. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated build, test, deployment, and release processes. 2. Develop reusable GitHub Actions workflows, manage secrets, environments, approvals, and deployment strategies. 3. Implement deployment methodologies such as Blue/Green, Canary, and Rolling deployments to minimize production downtime. C. Infrastructure as code (IaC) 1. Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation. 2. Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure modules for networking, compute, storage, databases, and security components. 3. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management. D. Containers & Kubernetes 1. Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS). 2. Configure Kubernetes workloads, services, ingress controllers, autoscaling, and cluster networking. 3. Support deployment and operations of modern Node.js applications in containerized environments. E. Security & compliance 1. Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, least-privilege access, encryption, and secrets management. 2. Design infrastructure aligned with security and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and SOC 2. 3. Perform vulnerability management, security reviews, and infrastructure hardening. F. Automation & scripting 1. Automate cloud operations and deployment processes using Bash, PowerShell, Python, and AWS CLI. 2. Develop reusable automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, and operational tasks. G. Monitoring & observability 1. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and New Relic. 2. Monitor infrastructure and application health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system performance. 3. Establish proactive alerting and incident response mechanisms. H. Cloud operations & optimization 1. Manage AWS environments, cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and production support. 2. Continuously optimize infrastructure for scalability, availability, security, and operational excellence. 3. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery best practices are implemented. I. Collaboration & documentation 1. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready cloud solutions. 2. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks. 3. Drive continuous improvements across cloud architecture, automation, deployment workflows, and DevOps best practices. Hands-on experience with real-world cloud infrastructure deployments and troubleshooting production environments. 2. Understanding of cloud architecture principles, networking concepts, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies. 3. Experience working with Azure services such as app services, function apps, storage accounts, key vault, Azure Monitor, virtual networks, and application gateway. 4. Knowledge of DevOps best practices including branching strategies, release management, environment management, and automation workflows. 5. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, security compliance, and cloud governance. 6. Experience with YAML-based CI/CD pipeline creation and managing multi-stage deployment workflows. 7. Understanding of Agile development practices and experience working with tools like Azure Boards or similar project management platforms. 8. Ability to analyze issues independently, troubleshoot problems, and provide optimized solutions. 9. Strong willingness to learn new cloud technologies, automation tools, and industry best practices. 10. Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and clients.
