Job Title: Civil Engineer Department: Engineering Location: Delhi Experience: Fresher/2 Year Experience Immediate joiners will be preferred Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Jr. Engineer – Civil to assist in the execution and supervision of civil construction activities for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The candidate should have practical knowledge of civil construction, site supervision, quantity measurement, quality control, and coordination with contractors and site teams. The role involves supporting the Sr. Engineer and Project Manager in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within quality standards, and as per approved drawings and specifications. Experience in RCC structures, foundations, water tanks, retaining walls, STP/WTP projects, or other infrastructure works will be an added advantage. Key responsibilities Assist in carrying out line-out and setting-out activities for civil structures as per approved drawings. Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities under the guidance of the Sr. Engineer/Project Manager. Assist in quantity estimation, measurement, and preparation of project budgets. Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, laboratory personnel, and vendors for smooth project execution. Monitor site manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities. Ensure construction work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor daily work progress and report deviations to the Sr. Engineer/Project Manager. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements at the project site. Coordinate with the Quality Control/Laboratory team for inspection, testing, and quality checks. Prepare daily progress reports and assist in weekly and monthly project reporting. Record measurements and assist in verification of contractor bills and material consumption. Assist in resolving day-to-day site execution issues by coordinating with senior engineers and other departments. Maintain project documentation, site registers, measurement books (MB), and work records. Support the Sr. Engineer and Project Manager in planning, execution, monitoring, and timely completion of project activities. Any other responsibilities/Professional Experience required. Educational / Technical Requirements BE (Civil)/Diploma Civil 2–4 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in EPC, STP, WTP, or industrial infrastructure projects. Basic experience in handling site labour, subcontractors, and material coordination. Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurement, and basic budgeting. Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings. Knowledge of construction methods, RCC works, and quality control procedures. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic civil engineering software. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
