Lead CFD Mechanical Design Engineer

YOU MUST HAVE Masters in mechanical engineering or M.S. degree with 4-5 years of relevant work experience/ PhD with 2-3 yrs of experience. Developed proficiency using fluid mechanics computer codes (i.e. ANSYS Fluent and/or CFX). Developed knowledge in computer programming for developing user subroutines. Ability to travel 10% both domestic and internationally. WE VALUE Developed knowledge in flow distribution, mixing, transient flow distribution and thermal/hydraulic events, heat transfer, and fluidization (gas–solid, liquid-solid, liquid-gas, and liquid-gas-solids). A demonstrated track record of technical growth, innovation, problem solving abilities, and accomplishments. Demonstrated expertise in multiphase flow and gas combustion. Familiarity with using discrete particle software a plus. Able to pay attention to details and work effectively on teams and independently. Utilize excellent planning and organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently. Utilize excellent communication skills to work with customers, write reports, and make presentations. Application of Six Sigma methodologies and tools in product development efforts is a plus. The annual base salary for this position is $129,000 - $161,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
