About the role
Role Overview: UOP India Pvt. Ltd. (UOPIPL), Equipment Modular Engineering Group aims to design environment-friendly plants and systems while continuously enhancing designs and engineering processes to become a center of excellence for Modular Process Units execution within UOPIPL. Professionals at UOPIPL have the opportunity to collaborate on complex projects globally, ensuring projects are engineered with the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Have relevant experience in detailed engineering for Piping discipline in the petroleum refining & petrochemical industry. - Possess excellent knowledge of Principles, Practices, and Procedures related to piping engineering, including Piping Codes and Standards. - Understand Local/Statutory requirements and their applicability. - Work on Plot Plan, General Arrangement, and Piping Layout within the Skid or Module, including pipe supports. - Utilize knowledge and competency in 3D modeling, Material Database, and Piping Material Specifications. - Review Piping Supports, piping isometric drawings, and Bill of Material in alignment with piping layout. - Understand inter-disciplinary linkages & interdependencies and Equipment Design and Fabrication techniques. - Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills for international collaboration. Qualifications: - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, with a Masters degree considered as an asset. - Proficient in effective communication in English. Additional Qualifications: - Possess good analytical skills, sound judgment, and be highly motivated, independent, and a team player. - Negotiation skills and business acumen are advantageous.
