About the role
1- Craft a comprehensive smart city platform architecture, considering various interconnected systems, data flows, and integration points between different smart city applications. 2- Evaluate and choose appropriate technologies (sensors, IoT platforms, data analytics tools, cloud services) based on specific smart city use cases and requirements. 3- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical smart city use cases like traffic optimization, energy consumption monitoring, public safety alerts, and design tailored solutions. 4- Develop data management frameworks to collect, store, analyze, and visualize large volumes of real-time data from various sensors and sources. 5- Ensure seamless integration of different smart city components and applications, including legacy systems, into a unified platform. 6- Design robust security measures to protect sensitive data within the smart city infrastructure and comply with privacy regulations. 7- Oversee the integration of different smart city systems, including but not limited to Access control, BMS, traffic management, energy grids, public lighting, and environmental monitoring. 8- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including city officials, project managers, and end-users. 9- Provide technical input on project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for smart city implementations. 10- Manage technical team on site and assign resources based on activities needed.
