About the role
As a Cloud Engineering professional at Horizontal Digital, you will be responsible for hands-on migration of client workloads to the cloud, with a specific focus on Sitecore Infrastructure. Reporting to the Solution Architect/Team Lead, you will work on various projects involving the planning, architecting, and deploying of infrastructure for Sitecore, a .Net Based Enterprise level Web CMS deployable on On-Prem, IaaS, PaaS, and Containers. Your role will involve ownership of technical, commercial, and service aspects related to cloud migration and infrastructure deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of technical, commercial, and service elements related to cloud migration and infrastructure deployments. - Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering infrastructure and migration projects. - Work simultaneously on multiple projects with a flexible approach to working hours. - Stay updated on technological advancements in the industry. - Possess knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD Pipelines. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent. - 6 to 8 years of total work experience. - 4 to 6 years of total migration experience. - Background in multiple clouds (Azure/AWS/GCP). - Implementation knowledge of VMs, Vnet, and Cloud Readiness and Assessment. - Understanding of the 6 R's of Migration. - Detailed knowledge of cloud offerings. - Ability to independently assess and perform discovery for cloud migration. - Experience with Containers, Kubernetes, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate, Cloud Endure, vSphere, Hyper-V Virtualization, Active Directory, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform templates, VPN, Express Route, peering, Network Security Groups, Route Table, NAT Gateway, etc. - Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Octopus, TeamCity, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions. - Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery Implementations, considering RTO and RPO aspects. - AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications are preferred.
