HVAC Design Engineer

Perform heat load calculations as per ASHRAE standards to determine appropriate heating and cooling requirements. Design HVAC systems including DX, VRF, Chilled Water Systems, Air-Cooled Chillers, and Refrigeration Systems. Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints; prepare ductwork and piping designs using duct sizing software and relevant tools. Draft duct routing, copper piping, and chilled water piping systems with accuracy. Prepare BOQs, tender documents, and cost comparisons between vendors. Coordinate and collaborate with architects, consultants, engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. Validate site measurements for ducting, piping, and ancillaries; certify contractor quantities. Document and circulate Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) during site meetings; ensure clear and effective vendor communication. Prepare section drawings in AutoCAD with superimposed MEP services. Work independently under pressure and manage multiple projects within deadlines. Undertake business trips and provide on-site design coordination as required. Support building design engineers and carry out professional designing responsibilities independently.
