Head Product Management

Key Responsibilities Define and execute product roadmap for solar inverters, lithium batteries, and energy storage systems. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify customer needs. Collaborate with R&D/engineering for product development and improvements. Prepare product specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation. Support sales with technical discussions, proposals, and customer requirements. Plan and execute product launches with marketing teams. Deliver product training to sales teams, partners, and internal stakeholders. Act as product expert and create simplified training materials and demos. Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvements. Manage pricing, positioning, and product profitability. Coordinate with service teams for feedback, issue resolution, and warranty support. Prepare technical responses and compliance documents for tenders. Qualifications & Experience Education B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, power electronics, Electronics & communications or Energy Engineering (mandatory) MBA in Marketing / Product Management preferred. Experience 12 years of experience in product management and 5 years technical within the solar, battery energy storage, or renewable energy sector. Strong understanding of solar inverters (string, hybrid, Micro BESS), lithium-ion batteries, and energy storage applications (residential, C&I, utility-scale). Skills & Competencies Excellent technical understanding of power electronics and renewable systems. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Effective communication and presentation abilities. Handson experience with product pricing, forecasting, and lifecycle management. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and product management software.
