About the role
Role Overview: As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Projects in the ELV industry, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end execution of ELV projects, including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA Systems, Networking, BMS integration, and other security & automation systems. Your role will involve project planning, execution, team management, client coordination, budgeting, vendor management, and ensuring timely delivery with quality and safety compliance. You will need to have strong experience in handling multiple sites, managing project teams, and coordinating with clients, consultants, OEMs, and contractors in various types of projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end execution of ELV projects from initiation to handover. - Manage project timelines, budgeting, manpower planning, and execution schedules. - Ensure installation and commissioning of ELV systems as per approved drawings and specifications. - Monitor project progress and ensure completion within deadlines and budget. - Handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously across locations. Technical Coordination: - Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEMs, architects, MEP teams, and civil contractors. - Review technical drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, and material submittals. - Ensure proper integration of ELV systems with MEP and infrastructure works. - Resolve technical and site execution issues effectively. Team & Vendor Management: - Lead project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. - Manage vendor performance, procurement coordination, and material planning. - Conduct regular project review meetings and site inspections. - Ensure productivity and resource optimization. Client & Stakeholder Management: - Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project execution. - Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. - Participate in progress meetings, reporting, and project presentations. - Handle escalation management and project-related negotiations. Quality, Safety & Compliance: - Ensure projects comply with quality standards, safety protocols, and statutory regulations. - Monitor testing, commissioning, and project documentation. - Ensure smooth project handover along with O&M manuals and client training. Commercial & Reporting: - Track project billing, certifications, and cost control. - Prepare MIS reports, project status reports, and risk assessments. - Support management in project forecasting and strategic planning. Qualification Required: - B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field. - PMP certification will be an added advantage.
