Metallurgist

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution. • Strong verbal and written communication. • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to meet the requirements pertaining to Vision Acuity Testing under the Quality Assurance Manual. • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word. • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Material Science or Metallurgy from an accredited institution. • Minimum of 3 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. • Quality or Engineering experience in the Aerospace industry. • Experience in the forging or metals industry. • Knowledge of statistical techniques, SPC, FMEA. • Experience with geometric dimension and tolerance (GD&T) principles. • Experience with the use of measuring devices common to the manufacturing industry such as calipers and micrometers. • Working knowledge of ISO9000 and AS9100 quality standards and material specifications. • Tier One Aerospace DSQR Certification. Salary Range $80,000-$95,000 Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
