About the role
Role Overview: As a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst at HP, you will be a part of the PMO team within the WW Personal Systems Category. Your main responsibility will be to support the development of the business management center of excellence by formalizing reporting business needs, identifying data sources, defining KPI calculation rules, implementing solutions with the back-end data warehouse team, developing reporting front-end, analyzing and fixing issues, and supporting solution deployment to users. Your contribution will play a vital role in driving transformation projects and programs across the category. Key Responsibilities: - Formalize reporting business needs - Identify and qualify data sources - Define KPIs calculation rule - Implement solution with back-end data warehouse team - Develop reporting front-end and test it - Analyze and fix issues compare to initial needs and enhancements requests - Support solution deployment to users - Communicate specs, estimations, development status, and milestones to reporting project manager Qualifications Required: - Enrolled in University and last First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred - Typically 1-3 years of studies in business intelligence, data science & big data - Quality improvement training and certification as a plus - Knowledge of data science industry trends - Projects and internship experience with following technologies: Python, R, SQL, Excel, VBA - Business front-end experiences as a plus: PowerBI, ThoughtSpot - Communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation) - Mastery in English and local language - Good financial and business understanding HP is a technology company committed to creating positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and communities.
