About the role
Hiring a Technical Lead candidate for a Startup firm who can develop product with AI expertise. Ideal Candidate : - 0 - 1 startup builder with a product mindset. - Strong AI/ML, GenAI and software engineering fundamentals. - Experience deploying AI solutions into production. - Comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing business strategy. Role Overview : - Lead architecture and development of production-grade AI/ML systems. - Remain hands-on with coding, experimentation and technical design. - Drive AI innovation across GenAI, LLMs, NLP and intelligent automation. - Build and mentor the founding AI engineering team. - Partner with product and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes. Preferred Technical Expertise : - Generative AI : GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI Agents / Agentic Workflows, Function Calling, MCP - ML & NLP : Deep Learning, Transformers, Fine-tuning, Embeddings, Recommendation Systems, Time-series Forecasting - Frameworks : LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, Haystack - Programming : Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, Async Programming - Cloud : AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform - Data : Vector DBs (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant), PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka - MLOps : MLflow, Weights & Biases, Model Monitoring, Feature Stores - Engineering : Microservices, Secure AI, Scalable SaaS, System Design What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months : - Architect and launch the first production AI platform. - Build an AI Copilot for financial advisors. - Establish scalable cloud infrastructure and engineering best practices. - Hire and mentor the founding AI team. - Deliver secure, enterprise-grade AI capabilities for BFSI.
