Role - Database Administrator Job Location - Kochi, Kerala Notice Period - Immediate to 20days max Salary offered - Upto 30%hike from last drawn salary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our maintaining, and optimizing database systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database environments. This role requires a professional who is passionate about database performance, data integrity, and security, and who can of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and support all production and non-production Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database instances. Perform proactive maintenance to ensure system stability and peak performance. Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify bottlenecks to improve database performance. Perform regular database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning, including conducting regular backup and recovery tests and DR drills. Manage database security, including user access, roles, and permissions. Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patching. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement effective database schemas and stored procedures. Ensure high availability and reliability of database systems. Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine DBA tasks. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator. Proven expertise with all versions of Microsoft SQL Server, including administration, tuning, and maintenance. Proven expertise with Oracle Database, including administration and performance optimization. Strong understanding of database security best practices.
