About the role
This is a one-year contractual position on the direct payroll of Company. Key Responsibilities: Robust hands-on experience with Azure compute, storage, networking, VMs, VMSS, Load Balancers, NSGs, Firewalls, Route Tables, Private DNS. Expertise in Azure Landing Zone build-out, configuration, and validation. Hands-on experience deploying and integrating applications with Azure SDK services such as Key Vault, Storage, and Service Bus. Proven experience migrating workloads from on-premises or AWS to Azure. Practical experience with Azure Migrate, including discovery, dependency assessment, replication, and cutover activities. Experience onboarding, configuring, and utilizing cloud migration tools, frameworks, and migration playbooks. Ability to lead end-to-end migration phases independently Proficiency in containerization using Docker, including image creation, optimization, and registry management. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications. Strong understanding of Kubernetes core concepts such as pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, and autoscaling. Skilled in writing and maintaining Kubernetes YAML manifests, Helm charts, and CI/CD deployment pipelines for AKS. Proficiency in Azure DevOps for backlog management, repository governance, and end-to-end pipeline implementation. Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (preferred), GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions. Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates, including reusable module development and environment standardization. Automation using PowerShell, Shell/Bash, Azure Policy.
