Flutter Developer

As a Flutter Developer at InnerBhakti, you will play a crucial role in rebuilding and scaling the InnerBhakti app to provide a delightful and reliable experience for our expanding user base. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of significant portions of the codebase, collaborate directly with the tech lead and founders, and actively contribute to the architectural decisions guiding the future development of the app. This hands-on role will involve daily production code writing, PR reviews, debugging, and participation in architectural discussions as we enhance the overall app experience. Key Responsibilities: - Build, deploy, and maintain features within our Flutter app for both Android and iOS platforms. - Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect and performant user interfaces. - Integrate with REST APIs from our backend, ensuring seamless handling of offline scenarios and edge cases. - Refactor existing modules into a clean and scalable architecture. - Optimize app performance metrics such as startup time, frame rendering, memory consumption, and bundle size. - Write unit and widget tests, engage in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior team members, and contribute to elevating the engineering standards within the team. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of professional experience in Flutter / Dart, with a proven track record of shipping production apps to the Play Store and App Store. - Hold a B.Tech / M.Tech degree from reputed institutes like NIT, IIT, BITS, IIIT, or equivalent Tier-1 institutions. - Proficiency in Dart fundamentals including async/await, streams, isolates, null safety, and generics. - Hands-on experience with modern state management techniques and integrating REST APIs with proper authentication, retries, and error handling. - Familiarity with Firebase services such as Auth, Crashlytics, FCM, and Analytics, along with standard mobile development tooling. - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, data structures, and clean code practices, with a commitment to writing comprehensive tests. - Ability to troubleshoot native issues on both Android and iOS platforms when required. - Bonus points for experience with high-traffic apps (100K+ MAU), CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications, in-app subscriptions implementation, or analytics instrumentation.
