About the role
Role Overview The selected candidates will spearhead the electrical project execution, installation, commissioning, and subsequent maintenance activities within their assigned plant zones (Spinning, Weaving, or Dipping). This role demands solid hands-on experience in Greenfield projects and high-voltage power systems (132 kV / 220 kV) to meet global MNC operational standards. Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Commissioning Site Installation : Supervise the site installation, testing, and commissioning of HT/LT breakers, transformers, switchgears, and utility networks. Substation Management : Execute and manage heavy electrical infrastructure tasks up to 132 kV / 220 kV systems. Contractor & Timeline Control : Coordinate with external contractors, manage resource planning, and track strict project timelines. Blueprint Reading : Interpret advanced electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and control schematics accurately. Plant Maintenance & Automation Shop-Floor Maintenance : Oversee regular maintenance of EOT cranes, wall-travelling cranes, DG sets, and plant lighting networks. System Troubleshooting : Resolve complex technical issues in high-voltage lines, control panels, and automation loops. Safety Compliance : Enforce stringent global electrical safety protocols, corporate quality norms, and zero-accident targets. Documentation : Maintain systematic pre-commissioning reports, equipment logs, and statutory inspection records. Area-Specific Roles Spinning Line : Focus on high-power extrusion motors, drives, and draw-line electrical frameworks. Weaving Line : Support air-jet/industrial looms, electronic jacquards, and localized control systems. Dipping Line : Manage heavy heating elements, RFL line drives, control systems, and drying zone utilities. Candidate Requirements: Project Background : Direct, proven experience in Greenfield project execution inside an industrial manufacturing setup. HV Expertise : Mandatory, verifiable working exposure to 132 kV or 220 kV substations . Coordination & Communication : Good communication skills to handle cross-functional production, quality, and project teams. Preferred candidate profile Education: B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering Experience: 3 to 8 Years
