Role Overview: As an analyst/developer in the Global Finance operations team at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in digital enablement initiatives aimed at enhancing controls implementation through process automation and meta data analysis. You will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders, project managers, and delivery partners to support and deliver targets as per the Term of Reference. Your role will involve translating business requirements into detailed functional requirements, leading the development of technical solutions, and working on data collation, analysis, and solution designs for problem statements. You will be expected to work closely with the 'Digital enablement' team and conduct trainings as a subject matter expert for various automation tools. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with project/program managers, internal process and business, external vendors, and subject matter experts to support and deliver targets as per Term of Reference - Perform business analysis to translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements and develop technical solutions - Lead the build, data collation, and analysis activities, initiation, requirements management, and develop solution designs for problem statements - Conduct project management activities such as change planning, audience analysis, designing and delivering change interventions, and tracking change readiness and adoption - Understand and interpret data calculations and validation within the application - Partner with IT for designing and implementing solutions, coordination and governance of controls, and evaluating technologies - Act as a subject matter expert for Xceptor, Microsoft Power Automate, Python, Qlik, GitHub, and SQL, and mentor aspirants wishing to learn digital technologies - Work with Business Users/application owners/Finance change delivery/Finance IT for any business, infrastructure, or application change and create UAT test cases Qualifications Required: - MCA/MBA/BCA/B Tech with 12 years of post-qualification experience in leading accounting firms/financial services sector - Strong/Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Automate, VBA macros, Python, SQL/Oracle, GitHub, Qlik, and other Process Automation tools - Experience in leading and executing large scale process automation projects in the Banking/Finance industry - Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in large teams, cope with pressure & tight deadlines, and strong presentation creation, delivery, problem-solving, and influencing skills - Experience in working with databases, producing and processing MI and reporting using large data sets, advanced statistical programming languages like Python and R, automation tools like Xceptor, Advance Python, and various technical skills sets mentioned in the JD Additional Details: HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culture of continuous professional development, flexible working, and opportunities for growth within an inclusive and diverse environment.
