QA Engineer

Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API testing with at least 2 years in an automated testing role. Proven ability to create and maintain automated test suites that ensure the quality and functionality of our web applications and services. Demonstrated expertise in UI automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar tools. Sound understanding of RESTful API testing with tools like Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, etc. Strong experience with programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for example Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI and integrating tests into automated pipelines. Familiarity with version control systems for example Git. In-depth knowledge of database querying such as SQL/NoSQL for verifying back-end data. Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments. Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality assurance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with mobile automation testing for example Appium, Detox. Experience with performance testing for example JMeter, Gatling. Familiarity with BDD/TDD approaches and tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow. Understanding of Security Testing principles for example OAuth and JWT.
