Specialist DevOps Engineer

As a Specialist DevOps Engineer at Hubbell Incorporated, you will play a key role in deploying and maintaining reliable and scalable infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Deploying, operating, and maintaining Kubernetes workloads on Redhat Openshift and AKS in production and test environments. - Implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and working with Kubernetes tooling ecosystem such as Helm, Kustomize, ingress controllers, and service mesh. - Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines to support consistent and reliable software delivery. - Writing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, and supporting Azure platform operations including networking, IAM, and Azure-native services. - Instrumenting monitoring services using the team's observability stack and responding to incidents to increase system reliability. - Working closely with fellow engineers, principal-level team members, and participating in code and infrastructure reviews. Qualifications required for this role include: - BTech/MTech/MCA degree. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering. - Solid Kubernetes experience in production environments with familiarity with Redhat Openshift or AKS. - Working proficiency with Terraform and ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments. - Practical experience with Azure services, CI/CD platforms, observability tooling, and security fundamentals. - Clear communicator who works effectively in a team environment and takes direction well. - Experience migrating workloads to Kubernetes or working with on-premises Kubernetes deployments. - Familiarity with containerization strategies, best practices for legacy application modernization, AWS experience, and Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD).
