About the role
Role & responsibilities Mandatory: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer Engineering 5+ years of experience in testing in networking domain products Understanding of OSI layers with emphasis on L2/L3 protocol testing Understanding and testing experience with Loop Protection Protocols -RSTP (Rapid Spanning-Tree), G.8032 etc. Experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and Testing Network Products- Routers, Switches, multiplexers Understanding of VLANs, different port types (hybrid/trunk/access) Experience in testing following communication protocols -Ethernet/T1/E1/C37.94/Async/FXO/FXS etc. Duties and Responsibilities Experience in Testing and qualifying Systems for Telecom domain Products used in substations Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process, suggesting and implementing process enhancements. Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test reports, test workflows, scenarios and test cases for black box testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. In-depth understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) Should be a self-starter who can deep-dive into the product to understand and explore the complexities of the product Experience in understanding Product Requirements, Marketing Requirements and deriving System Integration Test cases Should be highly creative in coming up with out-of-box scenarios for testing and bugs Perform end-to-end system analysis and design of complex systems (hardware, software, communications). Excellent verbal and written communication.
