Environmental Engineer

Role Overview: As an Environmental Engineer, your main responsibility will be to manage environmental compliance and regulatory processes for projects requiring Environmental Clearance (EC). This will involve preparing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, obtaining statutory consents (CTE/CTO), overseeing post-EC compliance, and conducting field monitoring activities. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports for projects needing Environmental Clearance (EC). - Liaison with regulatory authorities to secure Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO). - Manage post-Environmental Clearance (Post-EC) compliances. - Conduct baseline environmental monitoring for air, water, soil, and noise. - Coordinate with laboratories and consultants for environmental data analysis. - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and statutory norms. - Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies. - Support public hearing processes and related documentation. - Maintain environmental documentation and records as per regulatory requirements. - Conduct site inspections and field assessments to verify implementation of environmental safeguards. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. - 0 to 5 years of experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) preparation and environmental compliance is preferred. - Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and experience with CTE, CTO, and EC processes.
