Job Description:
As a Slack Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure of our Slack environment. This includes understanding the software, architecture, authentication mechanisms, add-ons, and integrations.
Great leadership skills Understands and learns new technologies quickly Good SAAS vendor experience (e.g. Slack) Knows what questions to ask and get answers Knows when it’s appropriate to push a vendor or escalate an issue when the vendor isn’t responding appropriately Knows when someone is telling them something that doesn’t seem right and will challenge until they understand/agree Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Slack’s infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. Understand Slack’s software and architecture to optimize performance and scalability. Implement and manage authentication mechanisms and security features within the Slack environment. Oversee the integration of add-ons and plugins to enhance Slack’s functionality. Ensure seamless integration of Slack with other systems and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues as they arise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business units and their Slack usage
