About the internship: Are you a backend-focused problem solver with a passion for building scalable systems and high-performance APIs? At Humanity Founders, we are looking for a motivated Backend Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. If you have a strong foundation in Python, REST APIs, Node.js, SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, backend architecture, databases, authentication, and cloud technologies, we'd love to hear from you! Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs. 2. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to build reliable and efficient applications. 3. Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and data pipelines using PostgreSQL and SQLite. 4. Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API integrations with third-party services. 5. Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability through efficient backend architecture. 6. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews and debugging. 7.
