Business Data Analyst - Procurement (Fixed-Term Contract)

As a Business Analyst, Procurement Analyst, or Data Analyst, you will be responsible for: - Applying statistical techniques, data modeling, and data mining to uncover trends, drivers, and opportunities; exploring AI/ML concepts where they add business value. - Delivering ad hoc analyses, self-service reporting, and executive-ready insights to support timely decision-making. - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and develop measurement frameworks. - Analyzing program adoption, transaction trends, and user participation; performing root-cause analysis and recommending improvements. - Designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, ensuring data accuracy, validation, and clear metric definitions. - Communicating insights through effective data storytelling and visualizations to influence business decisions. - Supporting onboarding analytics and reporting to ensure smooth integration across digital platforms and workflows. - Driving process improvements and change initiatives using data insights to increase adoption, reduce errors, and streamline operations. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in written and spoken English. - Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and automation. - Experience with enterprise databases (e.g., SQL Server or similar); knowledge of ERP systems is a plus. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query; macros are a plus). - Proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualization tools. - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. - Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
