As an Electrical Hardware Engineer at Husco, you will have the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, industry-leading organization where you will be responsible for supporting the organization with new and existing products, analysis, tools, and designs. You will collaborate internally and externally with multi-disciplined teams to envision, create, modify, test, validate, design, debug, and produce electrical hardware solutions. Your role will involve developing elegant hardware/software solutions by understanding customer needs, industry standards, and existing and novel electrical approaches. You will need a strong technical background to move electrical hardware from concept to production and beyond. - Embrace a steep learning curve to rapidly expand product knowledge, abilities, and toolkit (e.g., Altium Designer, Electrical SPICE simulation, industry standards like IPC, ISO, etc.) to apply to electrical hardware design and validations from concept to production. - Utilize your expertise to efficiently turn engineering requirements into reality by collaborating with PCB fabrication and assembly manufacturing, test labs, component suppliers, engineering labs, software engineers, and internal/external customers throughout the development process. - Demonstrate proficiency in PCB design for low power electronic hardware such as solenoid and motor control, with a deep understanding of electrical power and communication systems. ### Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Electrical Engineering major or equivalent - 4 years of work experience and demonstrated proficiency in embedded PCB power electronics, board design, board layout, testing, board rework/soldering, and debugging - Demonstrated proficiency in simulation of electronic circuits - Demonstrated proficiency in Altium Designer, including use of version control, libraries, templates, etc. - Capability to interpret and create schematics, circuits, requirements documents, datasheets, test plans, and DFMEAs - Understanding of Electrical requirements of mobile equipment (EMC, ESD, vibration, Load dump, etc) and how to read, understand, design for, test, and validate conformity to applicable standards - Strong oral, written, and listening communication skills - Ability to work independently and within a group Husco is committed to providing a diverse environment for employees to put a personal 'stamp' on their work, continuously expand and develop their professional skills, knowledge, and career, and create products that serve a greater purpose to communities around the world.
