Job Description As a Test Automation Engineer, you will design and implement automation solutions that validate system behavior across UI, APIs, and integrations. You will contribute to building a robust quality engineering ecosystem by integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and supporting continuous delivery. In this role, you will translate requirements into effective test strategies, combining automation with manual, exploratory, and integration testing to ensure comprehensive quality coverage across all application layers. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on coding, solving complex validation challenges, and improving system quality at scale, while taking ownership of end-to-end quality outcomes and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Automation Development & Framework Ownership Design, develop, and own scalable test automation frameworks and reusable componentsBuild automated test suites across:UI (Web/Mobile)API and integration layersEnsure automation solutions are maintainable, reliable, and extensible across teams Test Strategy & Implementation Translate requirements into automation-ready test scenarios, test data, and validation strategiesContribute to test strategy, coverage planning, and quality goalsIdentify test gaps and proactively mitigate risksPerform automation feasibility analysis to determine optimal test approach (manual vs automated) Delivery & Execution Excellence Execute a balanced mix of automated and manual tests aligned with sprint goals, ensuring comprehensive validation across functional, integration, and edge-case scenarios.Contribute to task breakdown, estimation, and sprint commitmentsProactively raise risks, blockers, and testability concernsIdentify, log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution lifecyclePerform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams for fixes Manual & Functional Testing Design, document, and execute detailed test cases and test scenariosPerform functional, exploratory, and regression testing across featuresValidate end-to-end workflows and business scenariosIdentify edge cases and usability issues through exploratory testingEnsure test coverage for areas not suitable for automation Quality, Standards & Engineering Practices Write clean, testable, and maintainable automation codeParticipate in code reviews and continuous improvement of automation frameworksEnsure adherence to Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)Take ownership of end-to-end quality outcomes across assigned areasFollow established DevOps, security, and quality engineering practices CI/CD & DevOps Integration Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)Enable continuous testing and shift-left quality practicesMonitor and improve pipeline stability, execution time, and Job Descr
