Lead Programmer Analyst - Health & Welfare Benefits Administration

As an experienced Lead Programmer Analyst for Health & Welfare Benefits Administration solutions, your role will involve driving end-to-end technology delivery within the US Benefits domain. You will be responsible for system analysis, configuration, quality assurance, production deployments, and stakeholder management. Your deep knowledge of Health & Welfare benefits administration, payroll interfaces, file lifecycle management, and client-facing delivery experience will be key in providing technical leadership to teams of Analysts and Senior Analysts. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end technology delivery including System Analysis, Configuration, Testing, and Production Support. - Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and validate technical and business requirements. - Perform high-level impact analysis and solution design for benefits administration systems. - Review and approve system configurations, technical documentation, and testing deliverables. - Define and execute integrated testing strategies, ensuring quality and compliance standards. - Lead production deployments, migration approvals, stabilization activities, and operational transitions. - Manage data conversion, file interfaces, payroll integrations, and shared service dependencies. - Monitor production issues, system abends, and drive timely resolution. - Maintain accurate technical documentation including gap analysis, solution design, and transition artifacts. - Coordinate with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. - Mentor, coach, and develop Analysts and Senior Analysts to strengthen technical capabilities. - Manage project workload, priorities, risks, timelines, and resource constraints effectively. - Support continuous process improvements and best practices across technology delivery. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in US Benefits Administration Health & Welfare Domain. - Deep understanding of Benefits Administration systems and service delivery processes. - End-to-end understanding of File Lifecycle Management. - Strong knowledge of Payroll Processing and CLP Process. - Experience in System Analysis, Configuration Management, and Quality Assurance. - Expertise in Gap Analysis, Impact Analysis, and Requirements Management. - Strong knowledge of Testing Methodologies, Regression Testing, and Production Release Management. - Experience handling Client Interactions and Stakeholder Management. - Strong Project Management and Workload Management skills. - Excellent Documentation, Risk Management, and Problem-Solving abilities. - Ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Alight, Aon, or Wipro Benefits Administration platforms. - Experience in Health & Welfare Benefits Administration. - Retirement domain experience will be an added advantage. - Experience in software development, implementation, and production support environments. - Exposure to large-scale enterprise benefits technology projects.
