About the role
Hype is a mobile trading app for memecoins.
You can think of us as a “jailbroken coinbase meets venmo ” in that our users can buy/sell/send/receive ANY asset in the world that live on blockchains.
About you
4+ years of experience writing production software
2+ years of experience solving complex distributed systems problems and strong understanding of data processing frameworks
Experience in building scalable and high-performance systems
Interested in working at a small, fast-paced startup
Nice to haves

Who you are
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience
Strong Backend/Full-Stack Programming Skills
5+ years of professional experience in software development
Experience with JS/TS stacks
Experience with mobile development (React Native, Expo)
Experience working on crypto / fintech products is a plus
Experience developing Smart Contracts is a plus
Experience in environments where you have to ship quickly. We move fast.
Experience designing and building scalable, performant, and secure systems (ideally with a focus on blockchain or fintech)
Experience working on a remote team with a variety of timezones
What you will do
Collaborate with a small, tight-knit team
Have a high degree of autonomy and accountability
Build features end-to-end, with full ownership over your work
Work on improving/making an existing product more efficient by identifying inefficiencies and solving them
