Role Description The Technical Test Lead Mobile Automation Testing is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves leading mobile testing initiatives, designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, and coordinating test execution across multiple mobile platforms and devices. The Technical Test Lead will plan test strategies, create test cases, oversee defect management, and ensure test coverage aligns with project requirements and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with developers and product teams, reviewing test results, mentoring test engineers, and driving continuous improvement in testing processes and tools. The role also requires reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metrics, and ensuring timely delivery of stable mobile applications. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong hardware handling skills, including Soldering and working with Test Equipment. Candidates should possess practical diagnostic abilities, including Troubleshooting and Calibration. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and documenting test findings. Experience in mobile automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest) is highly beneficial. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is preferred. Prior experience leading test teams or owning test delivery for mobile applications is an advantage. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
